with British Youth Council, My Life My Say, Centre for Youth Impact, Dartington Service Design Lab, and Councillor Hamza Taouzzale.

Funded by the Lottery Community Fund, this consortium brought together charities and social enterprises committed to putting young people at the heart of the conversation about youth violence.  We piloted a unique methodology of youth led research, insight and evidence generation.  For the pilot, Mobilise undertook a rapid evidence assessment to ensure that the young people could access latest research on the contributory factors to youth violence and what the evidence tells us about interventions that work.  A series of workshops were undertaken with young people in 5 places across the UK and their views were fed into a programme report that sets out how young people can be more involved in supporting the design of interventions to tackle youth violence in local areas.  The pilot found that young people’s views are rarely heard and that their views could help target interventions more effectively in local areas.
