We were commissioned by Adur and Worthing Council to explore a neighbourhood community budget for Eastbrook, Sussex.  The challenge was to work with public services, voluntary organisations and local communities to identify and lay the foundations for transformation of a shared priority issue. The Adur and Worthing Neighbourhood Community Budget project applied the Our Place methodology, which puts communities at the heart of service delivery in their area and involves local partners within a neighbourhood coming together with local people to identify the issues that matter most to them.  Mobilise undertook both asset mapping and spend and service mapping exercises to begin to identify local issues and service areas that might be better supported or delivered through a different approach.  Mobilise then scoped the potential delivery of a community-led organisation and the steps partners in Eastbrook and the community might consider in getting there.
